Baby Corinne / Newborn Photographer McKinney, TX

Baby Corrine came to see me at my Allen, TX studio for her newborn portraits.  In my many years as a newborn photographer, I have never seen a baby smile so much.  I think I captured at least 4 smiles – love it!  She slept wonderfully and we had a great session.

So many favorites… so many smiles.  Hard to pick just a few.

Luckily, mommy and daddy already have their CD of the session because I am way behind on putting up sneak peeks.  Had to sneak in a vacation last week, so this week will (hopefully) be catch up time 🙂

1 Year session in Allen, TX / Frisco, TX

I had the pleasure of meeting Natalie and Stephen almost 4 years ago at their engagement session.   Since then, I have been there for their wedding, their maternity session, the newborn session of their first baby, and now I get to see their baby, Isabella, turn 1.  It has been such a huge honor to have been able to see their family grow throughout these last few years.  I am truly blessed to be a newborn and family photographer in Allen, TX.

Isabella’s session started with outside portraits.  If you are in the Dallas area, you know that we’ve had about 3 months straight of rain.  Saturday was no exception.  We did the outdoor shots 5 minutes after it stopped raining… and 5 minutes after we were done, it started to rain again!  Luckily, you can’t tell how icky with was outside in these photos.

Oh, and the cake smash.  Well, let’s just say that Isabella wanted no part of this session.  She was done, done, done.  Luckily, her daddy is pretty hilarious and get her laughing.  And mommy helped by working hard at getting her attention on the camera.  This was some good teamwork.  With all of us working really hard, we managed to get some REALLY GREAT, TOTALLY AWESOME shots.  Izzie, you are too, too cute.

Happy Birthday to little Piper!  This baby girl is no longer a baby.  Feels like we just did her newborn session a short time ago.

I am just in love with Piper’s cake smash session.  Pink, white, and silver make a great combo, especially when you add in an adorable little one year old princess.  Piper liked her cake, though she was very delicate as she gently put the cake in her mouth haha!  I don’t blame her, I mean, who wants cake all over your face.  That’s just too messy 🙂

We ended our session with a fun bubble bath.  This was Piper’s favorite part and I love that smile we captured.

Cake Smash in Allen, TX / Cake Smash in Frisco, TX

Little Lia just turned one!  And that is definitely cause to celebrate with her very own cake smash 🙂

Lia came to me this weekend to celebrate her birthday in style.  She was so dainty with her cake, just picking small pieces here and there and nicely putting the cake in her mouth.  She eventually got some on her face… and then gave us a big smile.  Of course, I got that smiling cake-face shot.  It’s my fav.

And well, a cake smash isn’t complete without a bubble bath!

I’m so happy that Lia’s mom and dad brought her to me for her cake smash.  It was such a pleasure to photograph this very happy and smiley little lady!

Family Photographer / Flowers in Richardson

Finally it’s spring and let’s get those family sessions started 🙂  We pulled up to this location in Richardson, TX, not even knowing about the wildflowers.  What an awesome surprise!  Nothing better than enjoying the beautiful weather, capturing memories for this wonderful family in this unique and gorgeous setting.

Little Monroe is a happy little dude.  Don’t you just love overalls on a toddler?  So cute!

Mom and dad, thanks for having me do your photo session.  I had a blast and hope you did too!  And I’m so glad we waited for Spring photos.  These colors are just stunning.

Jackson’s Cake Smash session / Allen, TX Photographer

Oh how I love cake smashes.  They are so much fun.  It’s one of the few times that we EXPECT the child to get messy during a photo session.  Jackson was actually pretty gentle with his cake though.  No smashing it up like crazy.  And lucky for me, he wasn’t walking yet.  So, that makes for an easier cake smash session 🙂

He may have looked like a little smurf, with all of that blue icing haha.  I’m just loving these photos.  Such a cute session with an adorable little boy.
